Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Clerk for an immediate, temporary, part-time, onsite position in Winnipeg.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. At least 1 year of experience using Accuro is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and process physician billings accurately and efficiently using Accuro
- Reconcile incoming payments and investigate any discrepancies
- Organize and maintain supporting documentation for billing and payment records
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
- Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding billing questions, discrepancies, and updates
Qualifications
- 2+ years of billing experience in a healthcare setting
- 1+ year of experience using Accuro
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A criminal background check is required
