Our client is a well-established Canadian organization operating within a highly specialized, rapidly growing industrial and technology sector. With an expanding portfolio of advanced products and increasing demand across domestic and international markets, the organization is investing in dedicated marketing leadership to support its next stage of growth.
The Vice President, Marketing will provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s marketing function. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this individual will assess the current marketing approach, identify opportunities for improvement and develop a comprehensive strategy that strengthens market positioning, supports product launches and enables continued commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s commercial and growth objectives.
- Assess the existing marketing function, programs, resources and technology to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities.
- Lead marketing initiatives supporting new product introductions, market expansion and the development of new customer channels.
- Strengthen the organization’s brand positioning and value proposition across domestic and international markets.
- Oversee the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, trade shows and other market-facing initiatives.
- Partner closely with executive leadership, sales, product and operational teams to ensure alignment across business development and marketing activities.
- Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team of approximately 10 employees, along with external contractors and specialized service providers.
- Manage a significant annual marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Evaluate and enhance the organization’s marketing technology, analytics, systems and processes.
- Establish meaningful performance metrics and reporting to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
- Bring a modern, data-informed approach to marketing while remaining effective within a relationship-driven and highly technical sales environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Significant progressive marketing leadership experience, including responsibility for strategy, team leadership and budget management.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies within a complex B2B, industrial, technology, aerospace, manufacturing or related environment.
- Experience supporting new product launches, market expansion and the development of new customer channels.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team.
- Experience managing a substantial marketing budget and working with external contractors or specialized vendors.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing platforms, tools, analytics and digital channels.
- Experience supporting long, complex and relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Ability to operate effectively within an international business environment involving multiple stakeholders, markets and customer groups.
- Strong executive presence, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, balanced with a willingness to remain involved in execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related discipline is preferred.
