- Salary range is $45,000 to $60,000
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional service to personal lines clients
- Prepare and process quotes, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
- Review underwriting information for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend suitable coverage solutions
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and carriers
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and remarket policies to stay competitive
- Support clients through claims, taking reports and following up diligently
- Maintain accurate data entry in carrier portals and broker management systems
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends
- Foster a customer-first culture within the team
Qualifications
- RIBO license
- Minimum 1 year of personal lines broker experience serving a book of business
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of personal lines insurance products and underwriting fundamentals
- Experience with Applied EPIC or PowerBroker is an asset
