About the Opportunity
This newly created leadership position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading both the Legal Assistant and Paralegal teams in the Vancouver office. Reporting to the National Directors of Paraprofessional Services and Legal Support Services, you will play a key role in optimizing service delivery, improving team performance, and supporting strategic initiatives across the firm.

This 15-month contract position is ideal for an experienced people leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring teams, improving operational processes, and implementing technology-driven solutions. You’ll join a well-established national leadership team with strong onboarding support and the opportunity to build valuable relationships across multiple offices. For high-performing individuals, the role may also provide a pathway to future permanent opportunities within the firm.

About the Position
As the Paralegal Manager, you will provide direct leadership to approximately Legal Assistants and Paralegals in the Vancouver office. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring work is allocated efficiently while maintaining exceptional service standards. Responsibilities include performance management, coaching, employee development, workforce planning, recruitment support, and onboarding.

Working closely with regional and national leadership, you will help implement legal technology initiatives, improve workflows and capacity planning, and contribute to firm-wide operational improvements. This role requires a collaborative leader who can build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate a large national organization, and foster an engaged, high-performing team.
