Our client, a well established leader in electrical construction and technology solutions, is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join its Technology Division in Victoria, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured cabling and low voltage professional looking to take ownership of projects from estimation through to successful delivery.
This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects while collaborating with experienced technical and project teams in a highly respected organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead structured cabling and low voltage projects from estimating through project completion
- Prepare competitive bids, quotations, and tender submissions
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Review contracts, permits, procurement requirements, and project documentation
- Coordinate project startup requirements including safety, QA/QC, environmental documentation, insurance, and bonding
- Work closely with field teams, foremen, and superintendents to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project financial performance, reporting, and client satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of project management and estimating experience within structured cabling, telecommunications, or low voltage systems
- Strong technical understanding of structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure
- Experience working with major manufacturers such as Corning, Belden, CommScope, or Panduit
- Proficiency with estimating software, ideally Accubid
- Electrical TQ considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Procore
- Self motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
Nice to Have
- Experience across both project management and estimating functions
- Background supporting commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects
- Contract review experience
- Victoria based or open to relocation, with regular site presence required
