Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon are seeking an Administrative Assistant for their client in Winnipeg for an immediate opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in office administration and accounting who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office.
As the first point of contact for clients and customers, you will represent the organization with professionalism and ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression. You’ll also play an important role in accounts receivable, collections, and general administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome clients and visitors while providing exceptional customer service.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties to support daily office operations.
- Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and maintain customer records.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and contact customers regarding outstanding accounts.
- Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and account information.
- Maintain accurate files and documentation with a high level of attention to detail.
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of office administration and accounting experience.
- Strong accounts receivable and collections experience.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with corporate clients.
- Exceptional customer service and a polished, professional phone manner.
- Resourceful, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience working with accounting software is considered an asset.
