Our client, a leader in Fire Protection services across Canada, is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician in Winnipeg to perform maintenance duties, inspections, and repairs on fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and life safety systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of system reliability and client satisfaction are consistently maintained.
- Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
- Complete work orders and reports in a timely manner.
- Participate in on-call coverage for emergency service calls and related work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification is required.
- Two years of community college education in electronics is preferred. Equivalent training or relevant work experience will also be considered an asset.
- Previous training or experience with fire alarm systems is required.
- Programming experience is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work afternoon and night shifts on an ongoing basis.
