Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant for an immediate contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and has experience supporting ERP implementation or transformation projects.
This is an in office position based in Lloydminster starting immediately for a 6 month contract term.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Process and manage payments accurately and on time
- Support ongoing ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives
- Assist with month-end accounting activities and financial reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and financial processes
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data throughout system and process changes
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with account reconciliations
- Experience processing and managing payments
- Previous involvement in an ERP implementation or transformation project
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Comfortable working in a changing environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve
- Experience working in a multi-entity or complex business environment
