Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable e-commerce platforms with a focus on headless architecture
- Design and implement APIs (REST, webhooks) ensuring solid functionality and security
- Develop engaging user interfaces with React or similar modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time
- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects as needed
- Balance speed and quality to meet product delivery goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack application development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Proven expertise in backend engineering fundamentals and API design
- Hands-on experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks
- Knowledge of e-commerce systems: carts, checkout flows, promotions, and inventory management
- Familiarity with Redis, background jobs, message queues, and asynchronous processing
- Data modeling skills with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Medusa JS or other headless commerce platforms
- Payment, tax, or shipping integrations such as Stripe, PayPal, or custom gateways
- Automated testing with Jest, Playwright, Mocha, or Supertest
- Docker-based development or CI/CD pipelines
