Our client, a Residential Construction Firm, based out of Edmonton, AB is looking for a Construction Estimator!

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for residential renovation projects of varying size and complexity
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to fully understand project requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs and build complete cost breakdowns (labour, materials, trades)
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Work closely with design, project management, and leadership to align scope, budgets, and expectations
- Identify gaps, risks, and cost pressures early before they impact the project
- Contribute to project planning to ensure jobs are set up properly before they reach the field
- Support continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools, and accuracy
Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience working in Residential Renovations (ideal), Residential construction, or Commercial renovations
- Passionate about what they do with a focus on quality. Team player, willing to jump in and support their peers
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, able to professionally converse with clients and explain the process
- Minimum 5 years experience in Canada, needs to be aware of costing in Canada
