Based in Richmond, BC, our client is an established retailer that has been in business for the past 10 years. They are currently looking to add a HRIS Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience.
About the Position
- Act as the primary owner of UKG platforms, including Core HR, Payroll, Learning, and People Analytics, as well as the Workforce Management system. (WFM)
- Establish and maintain the HRIS roadmap and system strategy.
- Oversee configuration and ongoing maintenance of WFM functions, including time tracking, scheduling, attendance, and labour management.
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate flow of data from WFM into payroll systems, including validation of earnings codes, pay rules, and system mappings.
- Manage system setup, configuration, and workflow design within HRIS platforms
- Oversee integrations between HR systems and external/internal platforms, such as benefits providers and enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance
- Lead HRIS initiatives such as system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communication.
- Partner with Operations teams to improve workforce planning, support compliance requirements (such as overtime and rest/meal regulations), and enhance labour efficiency
- Support testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of WFM setups to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a key point of contact for HR, Payroll, and business users regarding system functionality and support
- Ensure HR systems comply with applicable employment legislation, privacy laws, and internal policies across Canada and the U.S.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on HRIS experience, with strong expertise in UKG Pro and Workforce Management systems.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or related fields
- Experience working in complex, multi-system environments with integrations between platforms.
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin is considered an asset.
- 5 days in office role.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: 100,000 to $120,000
