Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)s for immediate onsite assignments in Calgary, Alberta.
This role involves supporting residents in a non-emergency care environment by assessing and responding to health concerns, providing basic medical triage, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and policies. Must already hold Reliability Clearance with the Federal Government.
Responsibilities
- Assess and respond to non-emergency health needs of residents
- Provide basic medical triage and nursing support
- Liaise with public health authorities and external healthcare providers as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational standards and policies
- Support overall resident health and wellness in a professional and compassionate manner
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alberta
- Must already hold Federal Government Reliability Clearance
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- English proficiency required
- Bilingual candidates (English/French) preferred
