Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60,000 – $72,000
- Full-time permanent position

- On-site role based in Downtown Toronto
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and organizing legal documents for litigation matters, including preparing motion records, affidavits, and factums under supervision
- Draft basic correspondence and legal documents using templates and established precedents
- File court documents using online systems and occasional in-person filing
- Maintain and organize litigation files using iManage and related document management systems
- Conduct basic legal research under direction, including case law and procedural rules
- Prepare hearing materials, including binders, motion records, and supporting documents
- Review, organize, and summarize large document productions for counsel review
- Track litigation deadlines and maintain accurate litigation calendars
- Communicate with court clerks, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams as required
- Assist with discoveries, including document production, indexing, scheduling, and organization
- Support Senior Paralegals and Lawyers with ad hoc litigation and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Paralegal diploma from an accredited Ontario college
- 1–2 years of experience in a litigation or legal support environment
- Eligible for, or working toward, P1 licensing with the Law Society of Ontario (an asset)
- Strong understanding of Ontario court procedures or willingness to learn quickly
- Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, basic Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in document preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Professional and team-oriented approach
