About The Opportunity
You would play a key role in supporting the delivery of commercial and residential plumbing, HVAC, gas, and mechanical projects across Metro Vancouver. The position would focus on coordinating project schedules, subcontractors, materials, documentation, and communication to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is a hybrid role available to candidates based in Vancouver, New Westminster, Surrey, Langley, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Richmond, North Vancouver, and Maple Ridge.
The Requirements
- Assisting Project Managers with the coordination of plumbing and mechanical construction projects from start to finish
- Scheduling labour, subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain project timelines
- Preparing and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
- Coordinating with field crews, suppliers, consultants, and general contractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules while identifying and resolving potential issues proactively
- Supporting procurement of mechanical equipment and plumbing materials including HVAC systems, pumps, piping, and specialty systems
- Ensuring projects comply with safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations
- Assisting with project closeout documentation, deficiencies, commissioning, and turnover packages
- Maintaining clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in mechanical, plumbing or HVAC construction.
- Proficient in software such as MS Office suite and document control platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation
- Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 DOE
