What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements with clear, actionable insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple projects and entities
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to understand project performance
- Identify risks, opportunities, and solutions in real time
Billing & Revenue Support
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for services, rentals, and project work
- Review contracts and billing structures for completeness and accuracy
Tax & Compliance
- Assist with tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Stay up to date on tax requirements and support compliance efforts
Cash Flow & Financial Health
- Monitor cash flow, banking activity, and key financial metrics
- Support financial planning and long-term financial stability
Audit & Controls
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Help maintain and strengthen internal controls
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting
- Stay current with accounting standards and best practices
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional designation (completed or in progress)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central or similar is an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a strong advantage
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
