Position: Supporting key HR processes like recruitment, HRIS management, and policy implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Aid full-cycle recruitment: post jobs, interview, and assist in selection.
- Stay up to date on HR trends and present new ideas and suggestions to senior leadership.
- Onboard new staff and update processes when needed.
- Develop, update, and evaluate Job Info Questionnaires and descriptions.
- Recommend policy updates based on best practices and laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Stay current on HR legislation.
- Assist with HRIS management and data entry.
- Prepare reports on personnel data.
- Conduct exit interviews, offer analysis, and suggestions.
- Respond to HR inquiries, escalating complex issues.
- Administer engagement surveys.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3-5 years in a Senior HR Generalist role or related.
- HR Management degree/diploma.
- CPHR designation (or working towards designation) is an asset.
- Health/insurance/benefits experience is an asset.
- Job design and organizational development knowledge are a bonus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Effective interpersonal and customer service.
- Prioritize and organize workflow for diverse clients.
- Familiarity with labor laws in Alberta and Canada.
- Discreet with confidential information.
- Team player, goal-oriented, minimal supervision desired.
