Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client, a leader in their field, has partnered with Aplin to hire an Intermediate Buyer based in Edmonton. This is a 2-month contract position with the possibility to extend or go permanent. The role is in-office in East Edmonton and with a large industrial client.

  • Order products and authorize payments.
  • Manage inventory, including current stock and new deliveries.
  • Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders.
  • Research possible item selections.
  • Search for and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Craft purchase order and inventory reports for management.
  • Work within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders.
  • Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Dynamics required.
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Analytical skills and great attention to detail.
  • Negotiation skills, ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to perform under stress.
  • Purchasing and inventory management skills.
  • Knowledge of the industrial sector’s needs.
  • Procurement and Microsoft Dynamics experience are required.
