Our client, an innovative O&G measurement company, is looking for a Senior Fractional Marketer who specializes in B2B content strategy and thought leadership. This is not a junior writing role. We need someone who can own the narrative for a technical software product, translate complex domain knowledge into compelling content, and help establish our client as the authoritative voice in pipeline integrity and fluid quality management.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a regular content cadence: LinkedIn, articles, whitepapers, and technical commentary
- Translate product capability (ProTrend AI, ERDS dataset) into audience-appropriate messaging for commercial and operations decision-makers
- Write and produce customer case studies from closed deals and active deployments
- Support conference and trade show submissions: abstracts, speaking proposals, booth and presentation collateral
- Collaborate with the CEO and sales team on high-value proposal narratives
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 7+ years in B2B content marketing or thought leadership, ideally in SaaS, industrial software, or energy technology
- Demonstrated ability to produce executive-level written content independently—not reliant on heavy briefing or editing
- Strong instinct for audience segmentation: writing differently for a VP of Operations vs. a commercial scheduler
- Comfortable working directly with a CEO in a lean, fast-moving environment
Nice-to-Have
- Energy sector familiarity (midstream, pipeline, oil and gas operations)
- Experience marketing a technical or data-driven software product
- Existing relationships or credibility in the Canadian energy tech ecosystem
- Comfort with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms
