The SAP Analyst is a specialist responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s SAP HR, SuccessFactors, and Financial, S/4HANA, Platform. This role works closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure the platform meets evolving organizational needs, implements governance and best practices, and delivers scalable solutions and actionable insights. In this role you will:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA modules, including integration points, system customizations, and enhancements.
  • Administer multiple SAP environments (access/release management).
  • Create and manage objects, workflows, validation rules, and other platform components to meet changing business requirements.
  • Capture release and enhancement work in the ticketing system, including user acceptance, regression, and integration testing.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks: respond to service tickets, troubleshoot issues, and perform compliance and user access audits.
  • Participate in business discussions on future SAP implementations and enhancement requests.
  • Answer ad hoc SAP-related questions and provide guidance to drive efficiency and automation.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and implement custom solutions using SAP automation tools.
  • Ensure work adheres to IT governance frameworks.
  • Train and coach end users on SAP functionalities, documenting configurations and best practices to keep governance and support documentation up to date.
  • Act as a leader and mentor for SAP Platform initiatives, supporting organizational goals and mentoring employees.
  • Develop and maintain job aids, SOPs, guides, templates, and metrics to support platform scalability and operational knowledge.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and engagement plans for SAP initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving risks.

The SAP Analyst is recognized as an expert in SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA systems, contributing to strategic goals within IT and the organization.

Responsibilities include:
  • Contributing to the development and execution of the SAP platform roadmap.
  • Identifying opportunities and justifications for spending and initiatives, including risk and cost/benefit analyses.
  • Establishing measures of success for continuous improvement and enhancement initiatives.
  • Defining high-level training requirements, schedules, resources, and priorities for SAP.
  • Incorporating lessons learned into future initiatives.
You bring:
  • Degree or certification in Commerce, Business, Computer Sciences, or a related field.
  • SAP certification is an asset.
  • Project Management or Business Analysis certification/courses are considered an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as an SAP administrator or analyst, including working with S4HANA.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in on a project team.
  • Experience with M365 suite (SharePoint Online, Teams) is an asset.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and project delivery skills.
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism.
