We’re hiring a Project Accountant for a growing Edmonton-based team. This is a hands-on role with a mix of accounting and AP, ideal for someone who can jump in quickly and enjoys working in a collaborative, multi-entity, fast-paced environment. Land development, home building or construction industry accounting experience is required.
You’ll be involved in month-end, reconciliations, and project accounting, while also supporting AP and expense tracking across multiple entities and projects.
This is a 1 month contract starting immediately with a high likelihood of extension for the right fit. The role is an in office position in South Edmonton.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting
- Manage AP/AR, including invoice processing and approvals
- Handle credit cards and expense allocations across projects
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities
- Work closely with Project Managers on invoice coding and approvals
- Assist with project-based accounting and contract tracking
What we’re looking for:
- 3–4+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of month-end and multi-entity accounting
- Experience with complex intercompany transactions
- Background in project accounting, land development, or construction is required
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
- Someone who is hands-on, proactive, and enjoys working with a team
