We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a book of commercial insurance clients operating in the Ontario market, managing their accounts through the full policy lifecycle while building lasting relationships that drive retention and growth.
Compensation
- $70,000 to $80,000 or more based on relevant experience

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts
- Serve as the day-to-day client contact, responding to coverage inquiries, certificate of insurance requests, endorsements, and policy changes in a timely manner
- Lead the renewal process from start to finish; gathering updated exposure information, preparing market submissions, negotiating with carriers, and presenting options to clients
- Work with insurer partners to secure optimal coverage for clients and negotiating premium rates
- Collaborate with producers and account executives to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business
- Review policies for accuracy ensuring coverage aligns with client needs, provincial regulatory requirements, and RIBO guidelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the broker management system
- Assist clients with claims reporting and act as a liaison with insurers throughout the claims process
- Stay current on Ontario market conditions, carrier appetite changes, and emerging risks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial lines insurance experience in an Ontario brokerage setting
- Active RIBO license in good standing
- Strong working knowledge of commercial coverage lines, policy wordings, and standard Ontario endorsements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
