About The Opportunity
Marketing & Business Development Coordinator plays a key role in elevating the firm’s profile across multiple platforms. This dynamic position offers the chance to create engaging promotional content, manage social media and digital campaigns, support website and online visibility initiatives, and contribute to directories and ranking submissions. You will work closely with lawyers, practice groups, and industry networks to advance business development efforts, while gaining hands-on experience in events, sponsorships, and client-facing initiatives. Ideal for a detail-oriented, creative, and relationship-focused professional, this role provides exposure to a wide range of marketing and business development activities in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
About The Position
- Develop and coordinate print and digital marketing collateral, including ads, posters, mailouts, and promotional materials
- Create and distribute electronic marketing materials such as e-blasts, newsletters, event invites, and holiday greetings
- Manage social media accounts and develop content/campaigns to highlight firm and lawyer initiatives
- Support lawyers with LinkedIn best practices to enhance professional visibility and reputation
- Update website content, including lawyer bios, practice and student pages, and support special web projects and GEO initiatives
- Coordinate directories, ranking submissions, and research new platforms to promote the firm and its lawyers
- Maintain and support the CRM marketing database to advance business development and relationship-building efforts
- Assist practice and industry groups with networking opportunities, sponsorships, and award nominations/submissions
- Provide general administrative support, including document management, account payables, photoshoot coordination, and event logistics
- Conduct industry research and support ad hoc projects to advance marketing and business development objectives
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications; 3–5 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, Constant Contact, Excel, and open to leveraging AI and evolving technologies
- Collaborative team player with a flexible attitude, able to adapt to new information and set priorities effectively
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, works independently, and maintains a positive, professional approach in cross-functional teams
Compensation
- Annual salary range $65,000 – $75,000
