Aplin is currently supporting a global industrial organization in the search for an Inspection and Quality Lead to support a major project in the Edmonton area. This role will be responsible for overseeing inspection activities and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
The successful candidate will lead inspection teams, develop inspection plans and documentation, and work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This position will play a key role in monitoring quality performance metrics, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and driving continuous improvement across quality processes.
Additional responsibilities include conducting internal and supplier audits, ensuring compliance with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, and training inspection personnel on quality standards and inspection techniques.
