Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with budgets, payroll, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry
- Financial statement analysis, preparation and review,
- Performing/reviewing daily reconciliation of key accounts
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs
- Journal entry preparation and review,
- Managing and mentoring staff.
- Preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, preparation of monthly executive financial report.
- Maintain and implement appropriate internal controls.
- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards
- Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide departments.
- Responsiveness to the data reporting requirements of the other department heads.
- Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
- Reconciliation of detail to control accounts for all Balance Sheet items, on a Period Basis.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Tech-savvy mindset—continuously looking for smarter, more efficient ways to improve processes.
- Strong communicator and collaborative team player, comfortable working across departments
Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment - CPA designation or in progress is an asset for this role.
