We are hiring for a 5-week project opportunity starting ASAP supporting a policy modernization initiative within the Government of Alberta. This role is ideal for someone who can take dense, bundled policy and procedure documents and transform them into polished, clear, and visually digestible materials
This is a full-time, in-office position located downtown Edmonton.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing and interpreting large volumes of bundled policy and procedural documents
- Analyzing and understanding complex written content
- Translating dense information into clear, executive-friendly visuals
- Creating flowcharts, process maps, visual summaries, and operational guides
- Identifying key steps, decision points, and structural improvements
- Supporting policy clarity and consistency through strong formatting and presentation
- Delivering clean, accurate, and professional documentation suitable for leadership audiences
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with policy and procedure analysis (preferably within the Government of Alberta)
- Strong ability to synthesize complex written material
- Demonstrated experience creating visual process documentation (flowcharts, maps, infographics, etc.)
- High attention to detail and strong formatting skills
- Solid Excel skills
- Ability to work independently in a structured, full-time office environment
