Our client in North York is a well-established and highly respected commercial insurance brokerage operating within one of Canada’s largest broker networks. Known for its producer-first culture and strong internal support structure, the firm is actively expanding its commercial division and seeking a driven Commercial Producer / Client Executive to join their growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial producer who wants to focus purely on business development while being supported by a dedicated servicing and marketing team.

Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Develop and execute a 3-, 6-, and 12-month sales plan
- Build and grow a portfolio of mid-market and larger commercial clients
- Identify opportunities in construction, wholesale, realty, manufacturing, consumer goods, and niche sectors
- Conduct discovery meetings and assess complex commercial risk exposures
- Collaborate with internal account management and marketing teams to prepare submissions and close business
- Maintain strong client relationships focused on long-term growth and revenue expansion
- Participate in performance reviews and strategic sales discussions
Qualifications
- RIBO license required
- Proven commercial insurance sales experience
- Strong new business development skills (true hunter mentality)
- Business acumen with the ability to engage C-suite and technical stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting revenue plans and pipeline strategy
- Existing portable book of business preferred
- Commercial focus required
