Our client in North York is a highly respected and growth-focused commercial insurance brokerage operating within one of Canada’s largest broker networks. Known for its producer-first model and strong internal collaboration, the firm is expanding its commercial division and seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to support mid-to-large market producers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong commercial professional who thrives in complex risk environments and wants exposure to sophisticated accounts without production pressure.

The Opportunity This role supports experienced Producers handling mid-market and larger accounts (typically $20M+ revenue organizations). The portfolio may include:
- Construction & subcontractors
- Large concrete forming companies
- Wholesale operations
- Commercial & residential realty
- Manufacturing
- Consumer goods
- Religious institutions
This environment involves technically demanding risks and a steep learning curve. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with engineers, underwriters, and risk consultants.
Responsibilities
- Manage renewals, remarketing, coverage analysis, and complex policy changes
- Support Producers with mid-to-large commercial accounts
- Conduct detailed coverage reviews and risk assessments
- Prepare submissions and collaborate with underwriters
- Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and service excellence
- Act as a strategic partner to Producers in account retention and growth
Qualifications
- 7–15+ years of Commercial Lines experience
- Strong experience supporting Producers (mid-market & above)
- Comfortable managing accounts with $20M+ revenue clients
- Construction experience considered a strong asset
- Strong technical underwriting knowledge and renewal expertise
- Confident communicator capable of handling complex discussions
