Stacey Danley at Aplin has partnered with our south Winnipeg client in the search for an Accountant. Joining a tenured team of accounting professionals, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a larger accounting team.
Please note this is a full-time permanent in-office role. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounts payable
- Financial statement preparation
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
- Ad hoc reporting as required
Qualifications:
- Accounting diploma or degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of accounting experience including accounts payable
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical acumen with an ability to investigate discrepancies
- Proficiency with MS Office; previous experience with Sage 300 is an asset
