About The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wills & Estates Paralegal to join a well-established and busy practice. The role offers a high level of responsibility and autonomy, with most paralegals in the group managing their own files. The successful candidate will primarily support two lawyers.
About The Position
Reporting to the Wills & Estates practice group, this Paralegal role supports a busy and growing practice focused on estate planning and administration. The Paralegal will manage files from start to finish, work directly with clients, and collaborate closely with lawyers and support staff.
Key Duties Include
- Managing Wills & Estates files independently from intake to completion
- Drafting and preparing estate planning and estate administration documents
- Handling probate and estate administration matters
- Communicating directly with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders
- Preparing and managing court filings and correspondence
- Maintaining accurate file organization and document management
The Requirements –
Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on a Wills & Estates paralegal desk
- Strong ability to run files independently
Nice to Haves
- Experience supporting both partners and associates
- Strong probate and estate administration experience
- Interest in mentorship and long-term growth within a team
Compensation
- Salary range: $75,000-$95,000
