Aplin is searching for an Electrical Estimator to join a growing team in Calgary, AB. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Tradesperson or Electrical Technologist who understands constructability and enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven estimating environment. You will play a key role in supporting estimating pursuits across multiple regional offices and contributing to competitive, well-structured bids.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates and support bid pursuits for new projects
- Review drawings and specifications; complete take-offs and device counts
- Develop RFIs, assess project risks, and identify key cost drivers
- Build accurate estimates using Accubid, supplier pricing, and site information
- Present estimates, assumptions, and risks during internal review meetings
- Support project handover, budgets, change orders, and contract requirements
- Journeyperson Electrician, 4th-Year Electrical Apprentice, or Electrical Technologist diploma
- Strong working knowledge of Accubid, Excel, and Bluebeam
- Solid understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), wiring methods, and constructability
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s licence
