- Position: Client Executive, Commercial Insurance
- Location: Remote or from the Calgary, Toronto, or Vancouver offices; travel required (own vehicle with reimbursement)
- Type: Full-time, permanent
- Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial risks, building long-term client relationships
- Work closely with the team to support renewals, and new business development
- Meet with clients in person to understand their unique insurance needs
- Develop customized insurance solutions to meet diverse risk profiles
- Collaborate with resources like prospect lists and cold-callers to generate new leads
- Support growth by expanding your book of business
What We Need From You:
- Minimum of four years’ experience as a commercial insurance Client Executive or Producer
- Deep understanding of various risks within the commercial sector
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships while assessing their needs
- Entrepreneurial spirit—self-motivated, adaptable, and passionate about client service
- Valid insurance licenses in BC, Alberta, or a RIBO license in good standing. License required in the province of residence.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for client meetings
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with tech or real estate risks
- Previous experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment
