We’re seeking a finance professional to step in as a trusted subject matter expert and support finance leadership, operations, and key projects during a critical 5-month period.
This role is ideal for someone who blends strong technical depth with business judgment and is comfortable advising management, leading through influence, and solving complex problems. This role will start in-office with the potential to go hybrid after the first month.

What You'll Do
- Act as a finance SME across areas such as accounting standards (IFRS), financial reporting, tax, risk, pensions, investments, and financial systems
- Research, interpret, and assess new accounting, regulatory, and system requirements and recommend practical courses of action
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, variance analysis, and management KPIs
- Compile complex reconciliations, working papers, and analysis for audit, tax, and actuarial purposes
- Partner with business leaders to clearly communicate results, trends, and recommendations
- Support finance and cross-functional projects, translating strategy into execution
- Analyze financial performance, processes, and alternatives and present insights to management
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and forward-looking financial analysis
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Proven ability to analyze complex information and see the “big picture”
- Comfort taking ownership of unfamiliar areas and rapidly building expertise
- Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- CPA or equivalent experience strongly preferred
