The Manager, Inventory Control and Logistics is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy and flow across the supply chain by leveraging data-driven insights to balance product availability, operational efficiency, and cost control. This role partners closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and internal operations to ensure inventory is effectively planned, tracked, and optimized throughout its lifecycle. Using inventory and logistics systems, the manager identifies issues, improves processes, and supports reliable fulfillment and strong customer outcomes.
This is an 18 months contract with potential of overtime/extension.

Core Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Analysis
- Evaluate historical trends, production capacity, and inbound supply to anticipate demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Design and execute initiatives to minimize excess inventory while maintaining service levels.
- Conduct inventory audits, resolve variances, and oversee stock movement between locations.
- Work closely with vendors, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to manage lead times, improve material flow, and ensure timely delivery and storage.
- Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory performance.
- Identify process gaps, recommend operational improvements, and participate in system testing and enhancements.
- Develop accurate, insightful reporting on inventory metrics, KPIs, and risks to support informed decision-making by leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience with inventory management platforms, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, forecast demand, and resolve inventory challenges using quantitative methods.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Solid understanding of inventory control, transportation, and logistics concepts, with proven experience applying materials management principles to real-world operations and understanding their impact on end users.
