Based in Vancouver, our client is a boutique corporate finance firm looking to add an experienced Manager to their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with 5+ years of relevant experience.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP, including notes and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and review the statement of cash flows, including all required supporting documentation.
- Draft and review accounting memos for complex transactions such as revenue recognition and equity instruments.
- Coordinate an efficient financial reporting process for both internal and external requirements.
- Contribute to strengthening internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance.
- Maintain the company’s capitalization table and assist with weekly wire transfers as needed
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with the team to plan engagement objectives and reporting strategies.
- Stay current on general business and economic trends and assess their impact on clients.
- Leverage technology to support continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improved service delivery.
- Perform ad hoc duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Designated CPA
- 5+ years of public company experience.
- Mining or crypto experience is an asset.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary: $110,000 to $130,000
