Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin have partnered with our client to hire Project Managers to support a variety of large-scale initiatives within Manitoba. This role requires a proven leader who can successfully manage complex projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver results within scope, budget, and timelines.
Reporting to a senior leader, the Project Manager will apply established project management principles and methodologies across the full project life cycle — from initiation through to planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out. The successful candidate will provide leadership, ensure project deliverables are achieved, and foster strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Please note that although this role is remote qualified candidates must be located in Manitoba.

Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and communications
- Lead large complex project teams including planning, implementing and supporting change management strategies for multiple diverse projects
- Oversee procurement, quality, integration of project deliverables, and change management strategies
- Develop and maintain project documentation and reporting
- Promote a professional, collaborative, and solution-focused work environment
Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects within guidelines and budget - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5 plus years of as a Project Manager with experience in planning and implementing projects within large complex environments
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, health administration, engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- PMP certification is preferred as well as experience with PRINCE2
- Experience with Capital planning is an asset
- Experience introducing new systems, programs, or processes across multiple stakeholders
- Prior experience in healthcare, public sector, or other highly regulated environments considered an asset
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budgets
Previous experience implementing software systems in the healthcare industry is an asset - Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Qualified candidates must be located in Manitoba, this role can be hybrid or remote
