What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Minimum of 3 years residential conveyancing experience
- Paralegal diploma or legal assistant certification from a recognized institution
- Proven ability to manage 10-25 files per month efficiently
- Experience with basic due diligence registry searches (Corporate Registry, Personal Property Registry, Land Titles, Tax Searches, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Professional, proactive, and self-motivated attitude
- Comfortable working closely with lawyers, clients, and staff
Nice to Have Extras
- Commercial property transaction experience
- Familiarity with building positive rapport with clients and internal teams
- Knowledge of current legal procedures and regulations in Alberta
Preferred Education and Experience
- Paralegal diploma or legal assistant diploma from a recognized institution
- At least three years of hands-on residential conveyancing experience
