Join a friendly, close-knit clinic team dedicated to providing exceptional care and service to our patients. We’re looking for a motivated and organized Receptionist who thrives in a client-facing role, can handle a busy environment with professionalism, and takes pride in keeping the clinic running smoothly.
This role is a permanent position located in West Edmonton. Hours will be M-F, 1 pm – 7:15 pm (30 hours/week).
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and provide outstanding front-desk service
- Answer and manage two phone lines with professionalism and accuracy
- Book and confirm appointments, process payments, and handle direct billing
- Communicate with insurance providers and WCB
- Maintain clinic tidiness – clean tables, equipment, and handle laundry
- Support daily clinic operations, including faxing, responding to emails, and managing supplies
- During slower periods, take initiative to help with administrative projects, marketing tasks, or scheduling improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of receptionist or administrative assistant experience in a clinical setting (medical office, dentist office, massage therapy, physiotherapy, chiropractic, etc.). Must have experience with direct billing and appointment booking programs.
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency, general comfort with web browsers, PDFs, and password managers
- Professional communication skills — written and verbal
- Calm, organized, and efficient under pressure; proactive during slower periods
- Familiarity with Jane software, Clinic EMR, or Telus Portal is an asset
