Our client, a well-established national insurance consulting firm specializing in financial institutions, is seeking a Bilingual Insurance Consultant to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role supports in delivering outsourced insurance and risk management services to Canadian lending institutions that partner with North America’s leading development companies.

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze existing insurance programs, providing detailed feedback and recommendations to clients
- Assist clients with insurance applications and the development of underwriting information
- Review and negotiate contracts such as leases, construction agreements, and service contracts on behalf of clients
- Gather and evaluate data for Total Cost of Risk (TCOR) studies, creating detailed reports and visual presentations using MS Excel
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting their risk management strategies and claims-related matters
- Liaise with management, brokers, underwriters, and financial institutions to deliver effective insurance solutions
- Manage and execute case-by-case projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual, must be able to conduct business in French and English
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial insurance (broker, underwriting, marketing, or administration)
- Background working with financial institutions or lending clients is a strong asset
- Insurance license preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
