- Compensation: $175,000–$200,000 USD annually
- Please note, this role will be fully in-office at the client’s San Diego, CA office

- Hours of Operation: 7:00am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage contract compliance and regulatory requirements related to major infrastructure and construction projects for the International Boundary and Water Commission
- Review, interpret, and manage commercial contract terms to ensure alignment with federal, state, and agency regulations
- Provide expert guidance on contractual compliance, insurance, bonding, and risk management requirements
- Support contract negotiation and execution processes while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate contract risks and ensure all documentation meets established standards
- Collaborate with project teams, external partners, and legal counsel to ensure contracts are compliant and properly executed
- Serve as a trusted advisor on compliance, providing clarity on regulatory expectations and contractual obligations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial contract management, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or public sector projects
- Strong understanding of contract and construction law, compliance, and risk management principles
- Proven experience interpreting, drafting, and managing complex contractual agreements
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external agencies
- Must be willing and able to work fully on-site near the California/San Diego border
