ABOUT THE CLIENT
We have partnered with a reputable legal firm recognized for its collaborative culture, commitment to work-life balance, and continued growth. They are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a designated CPA with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the financial analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, and perform ad hoc analysis.
- Prepare and analyze annual operating and capital budgets, including forward-looking forecasts.
- Review monthly financial statements with a focus on accuracy and forecasting.
- Collaborate with finance partners to streamline financial systems and reporting processes.
- Provide reporting and analysis to support the annual external audit.
- Oversee all aspects of capital asset accounting, including reporting and reconciliations.
- Monitor capital acquisitions against budget, resolve variances, and calculate depreciation and accruals.
- Review accounts receivable for accuracy and recommend adjustments for doubtful accounts as needed.
- Serve as a backup for the Senior Accountant or other finance team members when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Designated CPA
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience working with Power BI and Excel
- Experience creating and analyzing financial models
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary: $80,000 to $90,000
- Discretionary Bonus
