Our client, a leader in the Defence and Technology industry, is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in Ottawa or Montreal. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping recruitment strategies, building strong partnerships, and driving innovative talent acquisition initiatives across Canada.

- 12-month contract with potential for extension
- Please note, this role will be hybrid twice a week at the Ottawa OR Montreal office with option to work a fortnight schedule
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles across Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, and Victoria
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR teams to align recruitment with business needs
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including social media, networking, and proactive headhunting
- Lead and support Early Careers and university relations programs
- Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with company policies
- Collaborate with international Talent Acquisition teams to deliver integrated hiring strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR, or equivalent HR experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (IBM Kenexa BrassRing preferred)
- Perfectly bilingual – English & French (spoken and written)
- Highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven with excellent communication skills
- Ability to acquire Reliability Clearance (must have 5 years of residency in Canada)
