We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a temporary 2–3 month contract (with potential for extension) to support sites in Camrose and Edmonton, AB. This site-based role is hands-on and collaborative, providing HR guidance and support to management teams and first-line leaders within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor and partner to management and employees.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support on all human capital matters.
- Influence and support cultural change toward a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure HR priorities align with business objectives and deliver effective, efficient services.
- Manage and enhance training, development, and other HR programs.
- Provide consultative support on consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Handle labour relations activities, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, fairness, and confidentiality in all HR matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.
- Experience with labour relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, hands-on, and action-oriented approach.
- Highly organized, communicative, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working on-site across multiple locations (Camrose and Edmonton).
- Flexibility and service-oriented mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional business casual dress; boots may be required for plant visits (reimbursed if needed).
- Certification such as CPHR is an asset but not required.
Work Details
- 100% on-site, ideally 3 days/week in Camrose and 2 days/week in Edmonton.
