Located downtown, they are seeking a Corporate Commercial Legal Assistant – a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful client work, build lasting relationships, and grow a long-term career in a trusted, collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and handle client correspondence.
- Prepare billings, open and close files, track timelines, and create client packages.
- Draft general correspondence, emails, contracts, and legal documents.
- Maintain and organize client files and contacts, ensuring efficient filing systems.
- Liaise effectively with clients, paralegals, and other stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy corporate/commercial practice.
- Legal Assistant diploma or certificate is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, professional, and comfortable taking on responsibility as skills are demonstrated.
