Our client in the GTA, a leader in their field, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a contract basis. The role offers strong potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position, depending on performance and business needs.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $20 to $25/hour
- On-site depending on client location in GTA
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Book meeting rooms and coordinate visitor appointments
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Assist with data entry, filing, and light clerical tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Receptionist or Front Desk experience in a professional office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Adaptability and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
