Are you an experienced AR professional looking to grow your career with a reputable company in the Greater Toronto Area? Our client, a well-established industry leader, is currently hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process incoming payments (EFT, Wire, Cheque, Credit Card, Bill Payment) using SAP
- Investigate and resolve unapplied payments and discrepancies
- Handle AR maintenance and reconciliation tasks in a timely fashion
- Reconcile accounts to bank clearing balances
- Manage shared AR inbox and provide prompt, professional responses
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely AR reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or a related field
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas), Word, and Outlook
- Familiarity with SAP is a strong asset
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player with strong communication skills
