We are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a well-established law firm located in downtown Vancouver. This position requires the successful candidate to work in the office 5 days per week.

About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s corporate practice group. You will be responsible for preparing and managing a range of corporate documentation and maintaining accurate corporate records. This position will support up to five lawyers on a variety of corporate files.
Responsibilities
- Preparing closing documents for corporate transactions
- Drafting and revising resolutions, agreements, and correspondence
- Handling filings with BC Registry and Corporations Canada
- Reviewing and updating corporate records
- Preparing documentation for BC entities, including incorporations, name changes, and changes in directors/officers
- Maintaining corporate files and records using ALF Corporate
- Managing client verification documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Preparing and filing documentation related to partnerships, limited partnerships, business names, and extra-provincial registrations
Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognised paralegal program
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a corporate paralegal
- Proficiency with ALF Corporate, ESILaw, Worldox, BC Online, and Microsoft Office is an asset
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Works well independently and collaboratively within a team
Salary Range
- $70,000 – $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
