- Lead lending operations, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines
- Evaluate and adjudicate complex credit and loan applications, including personal, commercial, and agricultural lending
- Provide tailored financial advice and solutions to members
- Oversee collections and manage delinquent accounts professionally and effectively
- Supervise and support junior lending staff and contribute to a sales-driven, member-focused environment
- Conduct member outreach through visits and occasional cold calls to build lasting relationships
- Support the Branch Manager and contribute to continuous process improvements and training initiatives
- Monitor and adapt to changes in legislation, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lending or credit-granting, preferably within a financial institution
- Background in agricultural lending or the agriculture industry is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion
- Proven leadership capabilities and a team-oriented approach
- Proficient analytical skills with a strong sense of judgment and integrity
- High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in finance or business is an asset
