What You’ll Be Doing:
- Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including wills, powers of attorney, personal directives, and probate applications
- Open and manage client files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Liaise with clients, lawyers, and third parties in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule meetings, signings, and court appointments with efficiency and precision
- Assist with estate administration filings and documentation for court submissions
- Maintain electronic and paper files, handle dictation, data entry, and file management
- Prepare reporting letters and final accounting documentation
- Stay on top of deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding matters
What You Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with a focus on Wills and Estates
- Solid understanding of estate procedures and court filing requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- A professional, empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive client matters
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines with ease
