We are seeking a skilled and dependable Repair Technician to join our client’s growing team in beautiful cottage country! This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, a relaxed lifestyle, and being part of a close-knit community. The ideal candidate is passionate about small engine repair and is open to relocating for a stable and rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and boats (inboard/outboard motors)
- Conduct regular maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, winterization/spring commissioning for boats)
- Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Support seasonal demands longer summer days of work; with flexibility over the winter season (if preferred)
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in small engine repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and repair equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to relocate to a rural or semi-rural area
