Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support key HR initiatives and day-to-day operations. Reporting to both the President and Vice President, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to make an impact across several areas of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, and general HR administration
- Lead high-volume recruitment efforts and support onboarding activities
- Build strong working relationships across various client groups
- Provide guidance and support on workplace issues and employee concerns
- Coach and mentor junior HR Coordinators
- Participate in internal initiatives such as training sessions, wellness programs, and orientation events
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
- Must be available to work on-site
